...We might have missed him
Joe was told a year ago that his chance to hit the record charts wouldn't happen until at least 2004. That's because the former Giant Records' artist was caught up in the consolidation of the Warner Bros. group of companies. Label president Jim Ed Norman granted Joe a release to find another label, provided that if nothing worked out elsewhere WB would have him back in 2004. Of course, Joe went looking and signed with the new Tim DuBois/Tony Brown imprint Universal South. (7/08/02)
